Giving

Biblical Giving

At Pepperell Christian Fellowship we believe that when we give to our local church, God graciously allows us to share in the work of the gospel. The money you give to PCF is used to support the many worship and ministry activities that take place here every week. It is also used to help support missionaries and ministries who are spreading the gospel locally and throughout the world. Giving is an act of worship that glorifies God.

If you would like to know more about how PCF views biblical giving, we invite you to listen to or view three sermons that Pastor Stephen has given on this subject.

Where Your Money Goes

Almost all of PCF's income is provided by your donations, and every fall a budget is presented to the congregation suggesting how that money may be spent in the next year. The proposed budget is discussed, modified, and voted on by the congregation before it is adopted. Out of that budget PCF finances the various ministries of the church, cares for the facilities and other resources with which God has blessed us, pays its staff, and supports several missionaries and ministries. In 2011, fifteen percent of PCF's income was devoted to missionaries and external ministries. PCF manages its finances according to prudent policies and procedures, and periodically conducts an internal audit to ensure that these policies and procedures are being followed.

How to Give

  • If you have attended PCF, you know that we do not take a weekly collection during the worship service. Instead, we have an offering box at the rear of the sanctuary in which you may place your offering either before or after the service.
  • Some find it more convenient to mail their offering to the church or to have their bank mail a check for them through a payment service. If you choose to give through the mail, please make sure to send it to our post office box and not our street address: Pepperell Christian Fellowship, P.O. Box 192, Pepperell, MA 01463.
  • You may make either a one-time or a repeating donation through an electronic funds transfer (EFT) by clicking donate. When you do this, you have the option of creating a giving account; creating an account will give you access to your giving history. If you prefer, you may also authorize an EFT by printing a form and returning it filled out to Ed Marino in the church office.
  • In addition to EFT donations, PCF also accepts donations by either debit card or credit card. These too may be either a one-time or a repeating donation. Click donate if you would like to give by debit or credit card. When you do this, you have the option of creating a giving account; creating an account will give you access to your giving history. If you prefer, you may also authorize a debit or credit card payment by printing a form and returning it filled out to Ed Marino in the church office.
  • There are other options for giving, such as a gift of stock or the establishment of a trust. If you are interested in knowing more about these options please contact Ed Marino in the church office.
