PCF Ministries
We believe that ministering to our neighbors, both in the church and in our community, is a critical component of our faith. These ministries are some of the ways we do that at Pepperell Christian Fellowship. Please contact us for more information about these ministries and other opportunities to serve at PCF.
Adult Sunday School
Description: Four classes are offered during the year, two during the fall/winter semester and two during the winter/summer semester. Classes are generally informal and interactive, are open to all adults, and may be joined at any time during the semester.
Opportunities: Occasional openings for teachers.
Care Givers
Description: Teams of 4 to 5 men commit 3 hours (7:00-10:00am) on the second Saturday of every month to help where needed. Each team is assigned to a particular individual or family to provide help where needed (ex: yard work, small repairs, painting, cleaning, etc.)
Opportunities: There is always a need for more men to form or join teams. No special skills are required.
Children's Choir
Description: Presents special music during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Opportunities: Any child younger than 13 is welcome to participate. Rehearsals are held immediately after the Sunday service and start about eight weeks before Christmas and Easter.
Choir
Description: Traditional church choir presents special music during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Opportunities: People who want to sing are always welcome to join. There is no requirement to read music. Rehearsals are held immediately after the Sunday service and start about eight weeks before Christmas and Easter.
Creative Arts & Communication
Description: Supports the other ministries of PCF with artistic, dramatic, and technical expertise.
Opportunities: There are openings for dramatic performers, script writers, scenery and costume designers, audio/visual technicians, graphic artists, web designers, photographers, and more. For some tasks, technical abilities may be needed, but training is provided and there are many opportunities to serve the Lord in this ministry.
Facilities
Description: Helps with the maintenance and improvement of the physical plant, grounds and equipment, including repairs, construction, cleaning, and other related tasks.
Opportunities: Many opportunities for people to pitch in and help with repairs, yard work, cleaning, painting, and other similar work. Some of this work may require special skills, but much just requires willing hands.

Greeters
Description: Welcomes worshippers as they enter the sanctuary on Sunday morning and hands out bulletins.
Opportunities: More greeters are always needed.

Life Groups
Description: Small groups meet regularly for support, encouragement, and spiritual development. Join a Life Group this fall for both fellowship and growth. See our Life Groups page for more information.
Meals Ministry
Description: Provides meals to individuals and families at times of special need.
Opportunities: An announcement is made and a sign-up sheet is put out when meals are needed. Open to anyone who can cook.

Men's Fellowship
Description: A Saturday morning fellowship/Bible study meets from 7:00-9:00am (except on Care Giver Saturdays) and a Bible study meets on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30pm. There are also special events during the year: e.g., a canoe trip, a family cookout, a men’s retreat.
Opportunities: All men (including older teens) are welcome to join.
Missions
Description: Oversees missionary activities, including providing financial support to missionaries, publicizing missionary activities, and sponsoring missionary visits to PCF.
Opportunities: Anyone interested in missions is welcome to join.

Mustard Seed Coffee House
Description: Presents Christian musical entertainment to PCF and to the surrounding community on the third Friday evening of the month.
Opportunities: Help is needed setting up before and cleaning up after the coffee house. A graphic artist is needed to do posters.

Nursery
Description: Provides child care during Sunday school and worship times.
Opportunities: There is always a need for more helpers, both adult and youth (ages 12-17).

Office and Administration
Description: Handles the administrative needs of the church office, e.g., correspondence, directory, phone support, weekly bulletins, website, etc.
Opportunities: Basic computer skills are helpful, but not always required. Most of the help is needed during office hours, but some work can be done at off hours or at home.

Prayer Ministry
Description: Teams meet to pray on Sunday before the service and on Thursday mornings. There are also opportunities for individual prayer, such as the email prayer chain and the phone prayer chain.
Opportunities: Anyone who wants to participate in the prayer life of PCF is urged to join this ministry in some way. Contact us to see how you can become involved.

Resource Ministry
Description: Oversees the church library, makes available special resources of interest to church body, and organizes media-based fun events, such as family movie nights.
Opportunities: Anyone interested in these kinds of activities is welcome to join.

Senior Drop-In Center
Description: Meets the first Wednesday of the month to prepare and serve a meal at the Pepperell Senior Center.
Opportunities: Helpers are always welcome to join the team.
Special Events
Description: Organizes and oversees the dinners, receptions, and other fellowship events of PCF.
Opportunities: Help is always needed setting up, cleaning up, and providing refreshments.

Sunday School
Description: Provides for the Christian education of school-age children, pre-school through high school. Classes are held prior to the Sunday service (9:00am) from September through June.
Opportunities: Teachers, teacher assistants, and substitutes are usually needed.

Ushers
Description: Helps on Sunday mornings with serving communion, seating, and general assistance as needed.
Opportunities: Ushers serve on a rotating basis about once a month. There are usually openings on the team.

Vacation Bible School
Description: Provides an educational and fun week-long program every summer for the children of PCF and the surrounding communities.
Opportunities: Help is needed with teaching, food preparation, music, skits, scenery and props, games, crafts, cleaning, and more. There is something for everyone who wants to participate. Though this is a summer program, work starts early and help is often needed in early spring.

Women's Fellowship
Description: A Tuesday morning fellowship time with worship, Bible study, and guest speakers (9:00-12:00); and a Thursday evening Bible study that meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month (7:00-8:30). (These do not meet during Massachusetts school vacations.) All women of the community are welcome to attend.
Opportunities: Needed are small group leaders, refreshment help, set up and clean up help, and prayer support.
Worship
Description: Plans and presents the weekly Sunday morning worship service and the monthly Saturday night worship service.
Opportunities: Instrumentalists and vocalists who are interested in participating on the worship team should contact the office for more information.

Youth Group
Description: Meets every Tuesday evening for fellowship, games, worship, and small group studies. Also hold special events throughout the year, e.g., Christmas
caroling, work projects, pool parties, cookouts, outings and summer camp. There are also opportunities for missions trips. Open to youth junior high and older.
Opportunities: Adults who want to work closely with the youth as staff members should contact the Youth Pastor.
