A fantastic new resource: Open up the Bible
Regular, daily Bible reading must be one of the top things that Christians know they should do and know they’ll benefit from, but struggle to actually do. Reading the Bible every day is like eating every day: we do it not to fulfill a religious duty or tick a spiritual box, but because we need God’s Word in order to stay spiritually alive.
The folks at the Good Book Company have produced some great new resources to encourage us in daily Bible reading.

There’s a free magazine called ‘Open Up the Bible’ that contains articles on the value of regular time with God, thoughts on how to inspire teenagers to read the Bible, and ideas on reading the Bible together as a family. It’s simple, clear, well-produced and very helpful.
The magazine introduces a brand new website called openupthebible.com and the website is excellent. You can click over to the site to find interviews with normal people about when in the day they do their Bible reading and why they consider it important, free samples and giveways of various Bible-reading tools, and links to other materials you can purchase that will help you read the Bible more faithfully and profitably.
I love the Good Book Company and I’m very thankful for this new magazine and website they’ve produced. I hope you’ll check out the materials they’ve made available, and that these materials will help you grow in regular and joyful reading of the Bible.
